What lease terms do you offer?

We offer flexible lease terms ranging from 7 to 15 months, giving you the freedom to choose what best suits your needs.

How do I apply, and what are the fees?

You can submit your application directly through our website once you’ve decided on the apartment of your choice. There is a one-time administration fee of $300 and a non-refundable $75 application per person.

What’s included in the rent?

Rent covers the apartment and additionally, residents pay for a fixed-rate utility and service bundle that includes internet, gas, water, sewer, valet trash and recycling. Parking, pet and storage fees are billed separately if applicable. Residents must set up their electricity account independently and will be billed based on usage.

How do I pay rent, and are there late fees?

You can pay your rent through BILT. We accept online payments via credit card, debit card or bank transfer. You can also pay with a personal check or certified funds. For more details, please contact the leasing office. Residents have a 5-day grace period to pay their rent. After the 5th of the month, rent would be considered late and a $75 late fee would be applied to the account, weekly until rent is paid.

Are utilities included?

Utilities are not included in the rent and are billed separately in a fixed-rate utility and services bundle which covers internet, gas, water, sewer, valet trash and recycling. Residents must set up their electricity with Naperville Electric prior to moving in and provide their account number to the leasing office.

Do you allow pets? What are the fees and restrictions?

Yes, Domain CityGate is a pet-friendly community allowing both cats and dogs. Some breed restrictions may apply, so please check with the leasing office for details.

Is parking available, and is it included?

Yes, we have a private parking garage. Residents are required to register their vehicle(s) with the leasing office before move-in. Parking is $150 a month per vehicle.

What amenities are offered, and are there usage fees?

Domain CityGate offers various community amenities, including a social club, a parlor lounge with dedicated work spaces, a 24-hour fitness center with yoga room and spin studio, an outdoor swimming pool, a maker’s room, fire pits, grilling stations, a pickleball court and a pet spa with an attached dog run. We also have on-site bike storage that residents can use for no additional fee.

How do I submit maintenance requests?

Maintenance requests can be submitted through our RentCafe Resident Services portal or our Resident App at any time. Residents can also call/email the leasing office directly to submit a maintenance request. For emergencies or after-hours assistance, please call the office and prompt for on-call maintenance.

Is emergency maintenance available after hours?

Yes, emergency maintenance is available 24/7 by calling 630.394.2132 and following the prompts.

Do you have a package delivery system?

Yes, deliveries are accepted in our mail and package room. You can collect your packages 24/7 through the LuxerOne system.

Are washers and dryers included in the apartments?

Yes, all apartments are equipped with in-unit washers and dryers.

Is renters insurance required?

Yes, renter’s insurance is required and all leaseholders must be listed on the insurance policy.

Do you allow smoking in the building?

Domain CityGate is a smoke-free community. Smoking is prohibited in all apartments and common areas.

What should I expect on move-in/move-out day?

Domain CityGate has a loading dock and freight elevator which can be reserved up to two hours once per day for move-ins and move-outs. Kindly be advised that management does not provide moving carts or dollies for resident move-ins or move-outs. Residents are responsible for securing their own equipment for these purposes and should plan ahead to ensure a smooth transition.

Is there a resident portal or app?

Yes, there is a portal as well as a mobile app that residents can use to communicate with the management team, pay rent, submit service requests and so much more!

Yes, we regularly organize resident events throughout the year to help foster a sense of community.
